X Series Coil
Robust Design
The X Series Coil heat exchanger by Process Technology is engineered to eliminate stray currents in tanks, offering superior chemical compatibility with a rugged design ideal for both heating and cooling applications. Constructed with high-quality fluoropolymer materials (FEP, PFA, or PTFE), it ensures enhanced performance and longevity. The coil is mounted on a heavy-duty CPVC bracket, providing robust support for optimal efficiency. Capable of handling up to 30 PSI with FEP coils and 60 PSI with PFA, this series ensures superior steam service. It features heavy-wall tubing to improve circulation and reduce pressure drops, with a 1/8-inch perforated guard for extra protection against damage. Integral inlet/outlet connections minimize potential leaks, making this coil a reliable option for various industrial applications.
Vacuum breakers are recommended for fluoropolymer heat coil steam heating installations.

Key Features of the X Series Coil by Process Technology
Fluoropolymer Construction: All wetted parts are made from high-quality fluoropolymer materials (FEP, PFA, or PTFE), ensuring superior chemical resistance and longevity in harsh environments.
Heavy Wall Tubing: The robust heavy wall tubing enhances fluid circulation while minimizing pressure drops. The larger coils utilize 1/2 inch (13mm) tubing, while the smaller coils feature 1/4 inch (7mm) tubing for optimal performance.
Integrated Inlet and Outlet Manifolds: The coils come equipped with integral inlet and outlet manifolds that facilitate single-point connections. This design significantly reduces the risk of leaks and simplifies installation processes.
Stray Current Elimination: The innovative design effectively eliminates stray currents in the tank, promoting safe and efficient operation.
