The Process Technology MOTS Single – Bottom, Derated Heater is an over-the-side immersion heater designed for bottom heating in tanks with concentrated alkaline or caustic solutions. Its L-shaped configuration and low watt density design prevent scorching in viscous fluids, making it ideal for plating, phosphate, and rinse tanks. Available in steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, or titanium, this derated heater delivers 500 to 6,000 watts at 120 to 600 volts for safe and efficient alkaline tank heating.
