HXT Series – Screwplug
HXT Series Screwplug Heaters are engineered for industrial applications requiring robust and reliable performance in challenging environments. Designed to withstand the harshest conditions, these heaters offer excellent chemical resistance, making them ideal for use with aggressive acids, alkaline solutions, and other corrosive chemicals.
Key Features
- Chemical Resistance: Inert to most aqueous acid, alkaline, anodizing, and pickling solutions, making it highly reliable in corrosive environments.
- Durable Construction: The rugged, heavy-wall PTFE-covered stainless steel element and PVDF screw plug ensure minimal permeation and are guaranteed to be 100% pinhole-free.
- Space-Efficient Design: The low watt density design (10 W/in² or 1.5 W/cm²) not only saves space but also extends the service life of the heater.
- Flexible Installation: Comes with a 3 ft (.9m) flexible PVC liquid-tight conduit for ease of installation, with a polypropylene terminal enclosure for added protection.
- Custom Watt Densities: Lower watt densities are available for applications involving highly viscous solutions and technical acids, ensuring optimal performance.
- Horizontal Installation: These heaters are specifically designed for horizontal installation to maximize efficiency.
Technical Specifications
- Wattage: Available in models ranging from 1,000 to 18,000 watts, providing versatile options to meet different heating requirements.
- Voltage: Compatible with 120 to 480 volts, supporting a wide range of industrial power supplies.
- Safety: Features a grounded internal metal element for enhanced safety during operation.
- Certifications: CE certified (excluding 600-volt models) ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
